punch-out

Just recently, A friend had us all over to watch the much anticipated Pacquiao-Hatton fight. During the commotion following his second round knockout I immediately yelled out, “It was the star punch of Little Mac!” (Remember pushing the start button?!) Nintendo must have heard me because, low and behold, a new Punch Out is set to come out! This time Mike Tyson isn’t involved but all the classic characters are still there. And Nintendo will fully utilize their motion sensitive controllers and make you really punch out King Hippo. Look for this in stores May 18th.

moshi-ivr-alarm-clock_1

The innovators over at Moshi have designed the first fully functional Interactive Voice Responsive (IVR) alarm clock. By initiating commands by saying, “Hello Moshi”, the clock will respond prompting you to say one of 12 pre-programmed commands. The only thing I would worry about regarding this clock would be the alarm off feature that is included in the commands. In my morning haze I call waking up, telling the clock to turn off without leaving bed would sounds like a great way to miss a morning meeting.

hotelicopter_terminal_sm

Are you tired of flying in today’s world? First you have the security line which wraps around the airport. Then your shoes come off and the guard does a 3 ounce liquid check. Once you get on the plane you find a sumo wrestler to the seat left of you and a crying baby to right of you. To make matters worse, two adolescent kids are playing slapjack on the tray table right behind you. FML. Well, Hotelicopter looks to change this experience. Boasting 18 hotel rooms in the largest helicopter in the world, Hotelicopter promises to offer you a luxurious experience that is unrivaled. Its maiden voyage is expected for this Summer.

juke-tower1

Even though I love to American Idol in the shower, sometimes I need a little music to put me in the right key (truthfully, I have no idea how to sing in key, and if you find the key to unlock my angelic voice, let me know. My neighbors would appreciate it.) I have searched high and low for a good shower music player. I present to you the TokyoFlash Juke Tower. A futuristic looking MP3 player that is waterproof and ready for your USB memory device to be plugged in.

htc212

HTC has been making the most innovative Microsoft Windows Mobile phones for years. The HTC Touch Pro 2 will sport Microsoft’s newly announced Windows Mobile 6.5.

Trying to decide on a phone? Let me help. It really comes down to the user and what they want to do with their phone. If you want to play music, games and watch movies on your phone go get an Apple iPhone. If you have a BlackBerry server at work and want to have inside conversations with your BBM friends, go get the BlackBerry Bold. If you are obsessed with gmail and even know what a GoogleApp is then get the Android G1. If you have an exchange server at your work (most places do) and you live your life in Outlook get a Windows Mobile Phone like the HTC Touch Pro 2. And finally if none of that made sense to you, just get this.

nixie tube clock

The retro feel of the Nixie Tube Clock reminds of something that would be in Doc Brown’s house next to his Flux Capacitor. The brushed aluminum gives it an updated look and worthy of a spot in your office.
