dna-art1

With the small amount of knowledge I do know about choosing art, (and when I say small, I mean I was about 11 years old and 4 foot nothing, choosing Tim Hardaway posters for my room) I know that you should pick something that exemplifies you. What better way to personalize your art then have it be made from you? DNA art takes your DNA code and transforms it into a full fledged work of art.

Andrew circa 1990: Dude, this is the coolest bed. You gotta get this thing.
Present day Andrew: You’re right! That bed is pretty awesome… but I don’t think this is going to help me out with the ladies.
Andrew circa 1990: Tell them that they can be first player.
Present day Andrew: Sold.

Some of the best new music and innovative design is coming right out of Denmark. The design firm DesignSpray has decided that chairs deserve to wear fashionable socks as well. Not only will this keep your chairs from scuffing the floor, but it will also make them look like a dork when wearing them naked.

ipad2

It’s finally here the Apple Tablet dubbed “iPad” was introduced by none other than Steve Jobs himself today at the Apple Keynote event.

Addressing the landscape of mobile devices and specifically netbooks Jobs says “The problem is netbooks aren’t better at ANYTHING.They’re just cheap laptops. We think we got something better. AND WE’D LIKE TO SHOW IT TO YOU TODAY.”

This looks like it’s going to be a game-changer. It truly is the ultimate device to have around the house or on the go. Reading the newspaper, watching movies, playing games, checking email or listening to music (on ComingFresh.com) are all great uses for this device. I’ve personally had a 15″ lightweight laptop for sometime now and it rarely leaves my side unless I’m at work. I can easily see this tablet replacing it and becoming my new sidekick.

To compliment the iPad, Apple has announced a fully integrated IBook store. This is similar to Amazon’s Kindle in that you can download books directly to the device to read on the go.

My recommendation is that this is the ideal second computer. I still need a machine that I can be productive on and potentially get some work done. But anything else will be well accomplished on the Apple iPad.

Available at the end of March.

Wi-Fi Version:
16GB - $499
32GB - $599
64GB - $699

3G Version:

64GB - $829

-9.7″ IPS screen
-1/2″ thick (or thin)
-10 hours of battery life
-”Shut the iPad down, come back in a month and it still has a charge”

My name is Androo. I would like to present my favorite toy. It is a Rubik’s cube made with Light Emitting Diodes. I once spent a summer studying the sequences to complete a Rubik’s cube. In my spare time I like to build websites and read about Cascading Style Sheets.

You can be this cool for $165 on QVC.

dosh

Quite the departure from your everyday bulky stitched leather wallet, Dosh has created something that will definitely make you do a double take. Dosh branched off from Blue Sky Design Group (whom designs for large companies including Phillips and Olympus) and went from creating cameras and toasters to.. wallets? I guess the transition made more sense to them then it does to me. Whatever the case may be, I dig the final product.

Got three in a row? Go for one more and Score 4 with Dunhill’s take on a classic game that brings you back to sticky Skittle hands and Kool-Aid lip. Think you are too old to still play? Kanye West and Jonah Hill don’t think so.
